About Me
I was raised in a suburb just south of Denver, Colorado called Highlands Ranch with my parents, my younger sister Audrey, and my younger brother Liam. I graduated from Mountain Vista High School in 2016 and then chose to continue my education at The University of Alabama.

I entered college with a declared major in Political Science, and added Journalism as my second major shortly after. At The University of Alabama I was the president of Bama Students for Life, the secretary of Young Americans for Freedom, and a member of Alpha Delta Pi. I was also the editor of our chapter of The Odyssey for two years, as well as a Cabinet Member and Contributor at Future Female Leaders, where I am still employed.

I spent the summer of 2018 in Washington DC, interning at Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute. In my time there, I learned how to write articles to be published on their website, I helped plan and organize political events, and I created the social media posts we used on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

I spent the summer of 2019 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, interning at The Tuscaloosa News as a reporting intern. In my time there, I learned the ins and outs of a newsroom, I worked on 1-2 articles per week and I worked on strict deadlines with my supervisor.

I will graduate from The University of Alabama on August 3, 2019 from The College of Communications and Information Sciences, The College of Arts and Sciences and The Honors College.I will then be seeking employment in the Southeastern United States as a writer and reporter for a newspaper, news website or magazine.
