PELHAM— Florida-Georgia Line, a country-pop band performed their Smooth Tour in Pelham, Alabama at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre on Oct. 19, for a crowd of over 10,000 people.

Florida-Georgia Line, a popular country band based out of Nashville, Tennessee brought their fourth tour “Smooth”, to Alabama this year. The tour is in support of their third album, titled “Dig Your Roots.” The concert took place at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham, Alabama, south of Birmingham. Ticket prices varied based on the location of the seats but most tickets were priced between $40 and $100. The concession stand offered beer, soda, water and cocktails all priced between $9 and $22. “I think the concessions are extremely overpriced—I would have liked to have a beer at the concert, but I didn’t want to spend $11. But the price of the ticket was a good value for seeing such a popular group. It’s also a good location for a concert because it’s not directly in the city but it’s still close,” said Andrea Pye, a concertgoer.   The amphitheatre, which is located 6 miles south of Birmingham, has a capacity of 10,500 and was sold out for this concert. Oak Mountain Amphitheatre does not have any upcoming concerts scheduled at this time, but will have some on the schedule for the spring.
